Learn more about our benefits.\nPosition Summary\nApplied Materials is seeking a motivated and analytical new graduate to support logistics operations through data analysis, process improvement, and logistics systems coordination.\nThis role provides hands-on exposure to Industrial Engineering, warehouse operations, logistics technologies, business analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work with regional operations teams, IT partners, and logistics service providers to support operational excellence, systems enhancement projects, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nKey Responsibilities\nIndustrial Engineering & Analytics\nSupport warehouse capacity planning, productivity analysis, labor planning, and storage optimization projects.\nCollect and analyze operational data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and business insights.\nDevelop and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytical tools using Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools.\nAssist with warehouse layout studies, process improvement initiatives, and operational assessments.\nSupport the standardization of Industrial Engineering methodologies, productivity metrics, and planning tools.\nLogistics Systems & Digital Solutions\nSupport enhancement requests and business requirements related to logistics and supply chain systems.\nCoordinate with Operations, IT, and business stakeholders to support system improvement projects and issue resolution.\nTrack development requests, testing activities, project milestones, and implementation progress using project management tools.\nSupport user acceptance testing (UAT), process documentation, and user training activities.\nAssist in identifying opportunities for process automation, workflow optimization, and digital transformation initiatives.\nAct as a logistics systems super user, supporting business users across various logistics platforms and tools.\nData Automation & Business Intelligence\nSupport the development of dashboards, reports, and data visualization solutions to improve operational visibility.\nAssist in automating repetitive processes using low-code/no-code tools, scripting, or workflow automation platforms.\nParticipate in data integration, data quality improvement, and analytics initiatives.\nSupport business intelligence projects that enable data-driven decision making.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nWork closely with Operations, Transportation, Planning, IT, and Supply Chain teams on improvement projects.\nSupport regional and global initiatives related to operational excellence, logistics technology, and process standardization.\nCollaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into practical system or process solutions.\nQualifications\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.\nStrong communication and organizational skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a team environment.\nInterest in logistics systems, business applications, and digital technologies.\nPreferred\nInternship or project experience related to logistics, supply chain, operations, analytics, information systems, or process improvement.\nFamiliarity with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, RPA tools, Power Automate, or similar analytics and automation technologies.\nExposure to enterprise business systems such as ERP, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), or similar platforms.\nBasic understanding of process automation, data visualization, and digital transformation concepts.\nInterest in becoming a systems super user and driving technology-enabled business improvements.\nWhy Join Us\nExposure to global logistics and supply chain operations.\nOpportunity to work on Industrial Engineering, analytics, automation, and logistics systems projects.\nHands-on experience collaborating with Operations, IT, and regional stakeholders on business improvement initiatives.\nStrong learning and development opportunities in data analytics, process automation, digital solutions, and logistics technology.\nDevelop valuable super-user capabilities in enterprise systems and business applications that support global logistics operations.\nA confident, data-driven Industrial Engineering professional who combines strong analytical capability with business acumen and influencing skills.
