At Applied Materials, our innovations make possible the technology shaping the future.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn end-to-end program execution for semiconductor equipment development programs, ensuring delivery of scope, schedule, cost, quality, performance, and customer commitments throughout the complete Product Development Process (PDP) lifecycle.\nLead program planning activities including scope definition, work breakdown structures (WBS), integrated master schedules, resource planning, budget management, risk assessment, and execution governance.\nDrive successful completion of PDP phase objectives, gate deliverables, milestone reviews, and release requirements from concept and feasibility through verification, manufacturing readiness, and product release.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, tracking mechanisms, and execution frameworks to ensure successful program delivery.\nCoordinate cross-functional engineering, operations, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and business stakeholders to achieve project objectives on time and within budget.\nMonitor program performance against key metrics including schedule, cost, scope, quality, and technical milestones, and provide regular status updates to leadership.\nIdentify project risks, issues, and dependencies; lead mitigation planning and drive timely resolution of program obstacles.\nFacilitate program reviews, governance meetings, design reviews, and executive communications to ensure alignment across stakeholders.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining project management processes, metrics, and best practices to enhance program execution effectiveness.\nContribute to technical and organizational development by collaborating with engineering teams and supporting successful execution of strategic product development initiatives.\nWhat You Should Have\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\nProven experience managing complex product development programs within semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, electronics, manufacturing, or related high-technology industries.\nStrong understanding of New Product Development (NPD) and Product Development Process (PDP) methodologies.\nExperience in project planning, scheduling, resource management, budgeting, risk management, and cross-functional program execution.\nProficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or equivalent planning systems.\nDemonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and executive presentation skills.\nPMP, PgMP, Agile, or related project management certifications are preferred.\nWhat's In It For You?\nOpportunity to lead cutting-edge semiconductor equipment development programs with global impact.\nExposure to complex engineering challenges across product development and manufacturing.\nCollaborate with world-class engineering and technology teams in a highly innovative environment.\nCareer growth opportunities in program leadership, product development, and strategic business initiatives.\nFunctional Knowledge\nDemonstrates conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines\nBusiness Expertise\nHas knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market\nLeadership\n Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience; may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements\nProblem Solving\nSolves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information\nImpact\nImpacts a range of customer, operational, project or service activities within own team and other related teams; works within broad guidelines and policies\nInterpersonal Skills\nExplains difficult or sensitive information; works to build consensus\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 10% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nYesApplied Materials is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
