Learn more about our benefits.\nWe are seeking a Hardware Technical Product Support (TPS) Engineer to provide technical support for advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment. This role will focus on hardware troubleshooting, system performance, tool reliability, upgrades, and continuous improvement.\nThe ideal candidate is a hands-on equipment engineer with strong experience troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems and working across engineering, field service, manufacturing, and customer-facing teams. This is a hardware-focused role.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide technical product support for complex semiconductor manufacturing equipment and hardware.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex equipment issues involving mechanical, electrical, vacuum, gas delivery, thermal, pneumatic, hydraulic, and related subsystems.\nPerform root-cause analysis of recurring or difficult hardware problems and drive issues through resolution.\nSupport installation, qualification, maintenance, repair, upgrades, and modification of semiconductor equipment.\nAnalyze equipment performance and field issues to identify opportunities to improve system reliability, serviceability, and uptime.\nPartner with Systems Engineering, Product Development, Manufacturing, Field Service, and other technical teams to resolve hardware issues.\nProvide technical guidance and escalation support to field engineers working on complex equipment problems.\nSupport new product introductions and the transition of new hardware technologies into customer environments.\nDevelop and communicate technical solutions, troubleshooting guidance, corrective actions, and best practices.\nWork directly with customers and internal stakeholders to understand technical problems and drive timely resolution.\nUse equipment data, diagnostic tools, schematics, and engineering documentation to isolate failures and determine corrective actions.\nProvide field feedback to engineering teams to influence future hardware improvements and product designs.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering discipline.\nHands-on experience supporting, troubleshooting, installing, or sustaining complex semiconductor equipment.\nDemonstrated ability to systematically troubleshoot equipment and perform root-cause analysis.\nAbility to read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, system diagrams, and technical documentation.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to work across engineering, field service, manufacturing, and customer teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting semiconductor capital equipment in a field, product support, systems engineering, equipment engineering, or hardware engineering capacity.\nExperience with equipment used in areas such as Epitaxy (EPI), CVD, PVD, Etch, CMP, Implant, or other wafer fabrication processes.\nExperience supporting equipment installations, hardware upgrades, retrofits, or new product introductions.\nDemonstrated experience resolving escalated technical issues in customer or production environments.\nExperience working directly with design or systems engineering teams to implement hardware improvements.\nAdditional Information\nTime Type:\nFull timeEmployee Type:\nAssignee / RegularTravel:\nYes, 50% of the TimeRelocation Eligible:\nNoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
