Your results are visible here, and so is your impact.\nIf you are excited about water technology, consider joining our team today!\nThe role\nWe are looking for a Inside Technical Sales - Water Treatment, who can turn a customer's water problem into the right solution and closed orders. You will handle inbound leads from both new and existing customers, win new accounts, and grow existing ones. Deals range from component orders to custom, engineered systems. In this role, you will work closely with sales, customer service, and engineering teams to support customers.\nWhat you'll do\nServe as a technical resource for customers: handle technical calls, answer application and product questions, and provide technical sales support for components and engineered projects\nQualify inbound leads from new and existing customers via our website, trade shows, email, phone and live chat, and convert them into orders\nProspect and win new customers in industrial and commercial markets, expanding into untapped markets and new, growing segments\nAssess water quality data and requirements; recommend the right membranes, systems or consumables\nBuild quotations, proposals and sales presentations with our engineering team, then follow up to close orders and long-term supply agreements\nNegotiate pricing and terms within company guidelines\nDrive revenue growth in existing customer accounts through reorders and by identifying opportunities for upgrades and cross-selling membranes, systems and consumables\nCoordinate with engineering, production and purchasing to deliver on time and resolve issues\nKeep accurate records of opportunities, quotes and activity in our CRM\nWilling to travel to trade shows and customer site visits up to 10%\nRequirements\nWhat you bring\n3+ years of technical sales in water treatment, industrial products or manufacturing \nWorking knowledge of RO, NF and UF membranes and water treatment systems\nAbility to read and interpret technical specifications, and water analyses, and explain solutions clearly\nA record of meeting or beating sales targets and supporting revenue growth through effective account management, customer relationship development and opportunity management\nStrong negotiation, written and verbal communication skills\nCompetency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office\nAffinity with technology and a proactive, solution-oriented approach\nBachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered\nNice to have\nExperience selling engineered or custom products/systems\nExisting relationships with OEMs, dealers or commercial/industrial end users\nBenefits\n· 401(k) with 4% company match\n· Medical, dental and vision insurance\n· Paid time off\nApplied Membranes, Inc., is an equal opportunity employer.
