The candidate should be a self-starter who is excited to solve real-world problems that matter to national security.\nWhat you’ll do as a Junior Engineer\nWork in a versatile job environment to support field testing and engineering analysis.\nProvide field engineering support for test event preparation, execution, data collection, and post-test documentation.\nAnalyze data collected in the field to support meaningful conclusions. Coding experience is preferred with the ability to write scripts to quickly process data.\nContribute to technical reports and briefings.\nJunior Engineer Requirements\nBachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related engineering field OR Bachelor of Science in Physics, Geophysics, or Geosciences with strong applied engineering skillset.\nBroad technical engineering capabilities and interests.\nAbility to obtain a DoD security clearance.\nJunior Engineer Preferences\nSome work experience (summer jobs, internship, etc.)\nField experience, familiarity with outdoor work preferred.\nCoding experience.
