business.\n\nIn this role, you play a pivotal role in driving our Data Strategy.\n\nYou will write code, set engineering standards, and drive delivery - while also leading and growing our team of Data Engineers in India.\n\nWhat You will Do : \n\nTeam Leadership : \n\n- Lead and mentor a growing team of data engineers, including talent reviews and career development.\n\n- Own planning, estimation, prioritization, and delivery tracking that aligns with leadership direction and expectations.\n\n- Coordinate intake and stakeholder communication for data requests and roadmap planning.\n\n- Set and enforce compliance with architecture standards, engineering standards for code quality, testing, documentation, and production readiness.\n\n- Foster a culture of curiosity and continuous learning, where engineers explore new technologies and share knowledge.\n\nData Pipelines and Integration : \n\n- Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines from enterprise applications, internal services, and third-party APIs.\n\n- Lead in designing and building production data pipelines from data ingestion to consumption using GCP services, Python, BigQuery, DBT, SQL, Apache Airflow, Celigo etc.\n\n- Drive AI adoption across the team's engineering workflows.\n\n- Design and oversee data models in a medallion architecture.\n\n- Mandate high standards for data validation, profiling, reconciliation, and quality initiatives.\n\nReliability and DataOps : \n\n- Build monitoring and alerting for data jobs, orchestration, and lakehouse health.\n\n- Participate and evolve production support, incident response, and on-call rotations.\n\nStrategic Leadership : \n\n- Translate business goals into scalable data and automation solutions.\n\n- Champion data democratization and self-service access to data and analytics across the company.\n\n- Evaluate and recommend tools and end-to-end solutions across Analytics, Data Engineering, ML Engineering and Data Governance.\n\nWe're Excited to Learn More About You : \n\n- 3+ years of leading or managing data engineering teams.\n\n- 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience in cloud environments.\n\n- Direct experience in design and development of large scale data solutions using GCP services.\n\n- Expert level knowledge of architecture frameworks, methodologies, and Data Modeling.\n\n- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code
