This role is responsible for the people leadership, delivery oversight, and client-facing communication needed to ensure that customer data migrations from competitor and legacy systems into Applied Systems SaaS products are executed seamlessly, on time, and with a high standard of quality and customer satisfaction.\n\nWhat You'll Do : \n\n- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Data Migration Engineers, setting clear expectations, providing regular feedback, and supporting career growth.\n\n- Own team performance management, including workload planning, capacity and resourcing decisions, and day-to-day people management.\n\n- Attend customer meetings during US business hours, serving as the primary point of contact for customers.\n\n- Understand each assigned migration project end to end, translating customer requirements into clear direction for the team.\n\n- Work closely with the US-based Relationship Manager, aligning on project status, customer sentiment, risks, and priorities.\n\n- Oversee assigned migration projects at a program level, tracking timelines, dependencies, and deliverables.\n\n- Act as an escalation point for complex, sensitive, or at-risk migrations.\n\n- Support and reinforce the global Follow the Sun delivery model, including night shift hours.\n\nWhat You'll Need to Succeed : \n\n- Proven experience managing, leading, or mentoring a technical team within a services, IT, or software delivery environment.\n\n- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated ability to build rapport and manage expectations with US-based clients.\n\n- Working knowledge of data migration, ETL, or database concepts (SQL fundamentals) sufficient to guide a technical team.\n\n- Willingness and ability to work a night shift schedule to support the global Follow the Sun delivery model.\n\n- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.\n\nEEO Statement : \n\n- Applied Systems is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
