In this role, you will design, deploy, and operate enterprise-gradenetwork infrastructure spanning multiple global data centers and cloud environments,supporting the Applied Systems platforms that serve thousands of insurance agencies acrossNorth America and the UK.You will be a key contributor to our cloud and datacenter networking initiatives - responsiblefor hybrid cloud connectivity, infrastructure-as-code networking using Terraform and GitLabCI/CD, and network automation using Ansible. You will also support the day-to-dayadministration of our F5 BIG-IP load balancing platform, site-to-site VPN estate, and networkmonitoring stack. This role participates in an on-call rotation and is expected to respond tocritical network incidents outside of normal business hours.The ideal candidate brings deep data center networking expertise combined with a growingcloud networking skill set, strong automation instincts, and a commitment to documentationand operational excellence.\nWhat You’ll Do\nDesign, implement, and support enterprise network infrastructure across GCP, on-premises, andhybrid cloud environments\nManage cloud networking technologies including VPCs, VPNs, routing, firewalls, load balancing, DNS,and IP address management\nAdminister and troubleshoot BGP routing, site-to-site VPNs, and hybrid cloud connectivity\n Support and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancing platforms and related application delivery services\n Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code and network automation solutions using Terraform,GitLab CI/CD, and Ansible\nMonitor network performance, availability, and security using enterprise observability andmonitoring tools\nCreate and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks\nCollaborate with Cloud, Security, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure networksolutions.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation and provide support for critical network incidents and outage. \nWe’re looking for someone who: Your experience should include some or all of the following:\n Experience with Azure and/or AWS networking\nExperience with Cloudflare and modern observability platforms\n Relevant certifications such as CCNP, Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer, F5, or TerraformAssociate\nExperience implementing network automation and NetDevOps practices\n Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or equivalentexperience\n5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience supporting complex, multi-site environments\nExperience with GCP networking, including VPCs, Cloud Router, HA VPN, firewalls, and hybridconnectivity\nStrong knowledge of routing and networking protocols, including BGP and IPSec VPN\n Experience administering F5 BIG-IP LTM in a production environment\nHands-on experience with Terraform, Infrastructure-as-Code, Git-based workflows, and CI/CDpipelines\n Experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and automation tools\n Strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills\nLocation\nCandidate will need to reside in North America, working arrangement will be remote.\nWhen You Join Team Applied, You Can Expect:\nA culture that values who you are and recognizes that you aren’t just an employee; you are a teammate, and you matter. To determine a new team member’s starting pay, we consider a variety of factors, including someone’s depth, breadth, and variety of experience, skills, and responsibilities.
