Our cloud software and AI-powered solutions reach thousands of agencies and brokers worldwide, setting the pace for what modern insurance can do.\nWe’re looking for a Lead Technical Consultant to join our Applied Solutions team and serve as a technical strategic advisor, setting architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards while guiding clients through their most ambitious and complex digital transformations.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAdvise client CIOs, CTOs, and executive leaders, aligning Applied's technical roadmap with their enterprise transformations\nAct as the executive technical authority on our largest, most complex enterprise engagements and lighthouse implementations, and lead resolution of systemic multi-system escalations\nEstablish and evolve architecture, integration, and cloud delivery standards and best-practice frameworks across Applied's software ecosystem\nLead cross-functional programs with Professional Services, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success, turning lessons from the field into repeatable blueprints and product enhancements\nPartner with Sales leadership on pursuit strategies, scoping frameworks, and value-engineering for high-value, first-of-their-kind deals\nShape technical strategy with hyperscalers such as Google Cloud Platform and integration partners, and mentor senior consultants and architects\nWhat We’re Looking For\n5+ years of business/technical solutions implementation, including cloud architecture design, evaluation, and custom solutions development\nBachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or equivalent work experience (8+ years, or 6+ years with an associate degree)\nProven cross-functional leadership, defining technical standards, and contributing to practice strategy, plus 3+ years of client and/or project management experience\nHands-on experience with scalable, resilient application architecture and DevOps practices (2+ years), cloud platforms and/or APIs (2+ years), containers (1+ year), and REST/SOAP APIs, SQL, Java, and JavaScript, across AWS, GCP, or Azure\nAbility to lead executive-facing workshops, design as-is and to-be process flows and architecture diagrams, support pre-sales scoping, and explain technical topics clearly to technical and non-technical audiences\nBonus points if you also have:\nGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP) Professional Cloud Architect certification\nSalesforce admin or technical experience (including APEX)\n1+ years of experience in the insurance industry\nTalent shows up in a lot of different ways, and we mean that.
