This role is ideal for engineers with strong backend and system design experience, who also bring a product-minded approach to platform development.\nAs part of the Platform Team, you will work closely with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to build scalable microservices, improve developer experience, and ensure our platform is robust, secure, and cloud-ready.\nWhat You will Do\nDesign, develop, and maintain platform-level microservices using Golang \nBuild internal tools and UI components using ReactJS to support engineering workflows and operations\nCreate and manage containerized environments using Docker and deploy them on Kubernetes\nCollaborate on designing scalable, secure service architectures and CI/CD pipelines\nOwn the development and maintenance of key platform services (e.g., identity, observability, configuration management, service discovery)\nOptimize database interactions using PostgreSQL\nEnable other engineering teams by providing libraries, patterns, and documentation for consistent service development\nParticipate in architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical design discussions\nMonitor system health and performance; drive platform observability and reliability improvements\nWhat You will Need to Succeed\n4-5 years of professional software engineering experience\nStrong backend experience with Golang and microservices architecture\nSolid front-end experience with ReactJS\nProficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration\nStrong knowledge of PostgreSQL or other SQL-based databases\nFamiliarity with CI/CD tools and practices\nStrong understanding of distributed systems, system design, and service-level concerns\nExperience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, NATS, GCP Pub-Sub) is a plus\nPreferred/Bonus Skills:\nExperience with cloud platforms such as GCP or AWS\nExposure to infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Helm)\nKnowledge of observability tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry)\nUnderstanding of authentication, authorization (OAuth2, OIDC), and secrets management\nPassion for improving developer experience and platform scalability\nWhen You Join Team Applied, You Can Expect:\nA culture that values who you are and recognizes that you aren’t just an employee; you are a teammate, and you matter.
