The Senior Identity Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, automation, and operational excellence of enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) capabilities. This role partners closely with Info Security, IT, Engineering, and Business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and automated identity solutions across cloud, hybrid and on-prem environments.\nWhat You’ll Do\nIdentity & Access Management Engineering\nDesign, implement, and operate enterprise IAM solutions leveraging platforms such as Okta, Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID.\nOptimize the identity lifecycle for human and non-human identities through automation.\nEngineer secure authentication, authorization, and SSO integrations.\nImplement Role Base Access (RBAC) and Just-In-Time (JIT) access and provisioning models.\nPrivileged Access Management (PAM)\nImplement InfoSec best practices to secure administrative and elevated access.\nEnforce least privilege, time-bound access, approval workflows, and session governance.\nAutomation & Engineering Excellence\nBuild automation-first IAM solutions.\nDevelop scripts and workflows to automate provisioning, access enforcement, and deprovisioning.\nImprove reliability, scalability of identity systems.\nProject Execution & Delivery\nLead and execute complex identity initiatives.\nTranslate security and business requirements into technical designs and delivery plans.\nOwn execution, risk management, and outcomes.\nGovernance, Policy & Documentation\nAuthor and maintain IAM policies, standards, procedures, and runbooks.\nSupport audits and compliance activities.\nWe’re Excited to Learn More About You\n5+ years of IAM or Identity Security experience.\nHands-on experience with Okta, Active Directory, and Azure AD / Entra ID.\nStrong experience with PAM, JIT access, and non-human identity management.\nStrong automation and scripting skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nWhen You Join Team Applied, You Can Expect:\nA culture that values who you are and recognizes that you aren’t just an employee; you are a teammate, and you matter.
