# Mechanical Engineer - Design

Mechanical Engineer - Design Applied Technology Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the complete system design lifecycle, from requirements definition through manufacturing and integration. This position works with an interdisciplinary team of analysts, systems engineers, designers, and manufacturing engineers to develop and document mechanical systems and components using design for manufacturing (DFM) principles. The Mechanical Engineer will create 3D models, detailed engineering drawings, components, and large assemblies using SolidWorks. All engineering work products must meet customer requirements, applicable design standards, and ATS policies and procedures for documentation, peer review, and configuration management.
