Position Overview
We’re searching for a Software Script Engineer to join our IVANS team in Bengaluru location. To keep us headed in the right direction, we’re looking for people who understand winning is a team sport, who value and seek to learn from our team’s diverse experiences and backgrounds, who welcome a challenge and take risks in the pursuit of creating better outcomes for our customers, and who can, at any given time, step back to laugh and have some fun.
What You’ll Do
- Codes and develop software applications. Works as part of a development team in the design and development of software applications.
- Conducts requirement analysis, documents for technical specifications, writes, reviews, and debugs code. Recommends product revisions or enhancements based on user feedback. Develops and maintains documentation or user manuals.
- Deep understanding of software architecture, development methodologies, and coding standards.
- Performs work under minimal supervision. Handles complex issues/problems and refers only to the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Competencies Debugging skills, problem-solving skills, detail-oriented, ability to work as part of a team.
- Performs other duties as assigned by immediate manager or management team.
- Communicates timely and clear status updates to appropriate management
- API knowledge and data transformation concepts and ability to work on both scripting and engineering tasks
- Technical expertise in XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, HTML, CSS, Angular, Typescript, Java, (Knowledge on AI tools Github Copilot, Claude)
We’re Excited to Learn More About You
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience Strong understanding of the software development life cycle.
- Ability to create, read, and understand complex mapping documents.
- Enhance technical skills through hands-on experience with the current tech stack.
- Technical expertise in XML, XSD, JSON, XSLT, Java.
- Knowledge of Mapforce and Python would be added advantage.
