The candidate will be responsible for independently driving validation activities, developing complex test scenarios, maintaining HIL environments, and identifying system-level defects across telematics software.\n\nThe ideal candidate should have strong Python automation capabilities, experience troubleshooting HIL benches, and the ability to analyze complex system behavior under normal and fault conditions.\n\nExperience with dSPACE HIL platforms, MATLAB, and Simulink is highly mandatory.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\nAnalyze complex telematics system and software requirements and independently develop comprehensive, traceable validation strategies and test cases.\nDesign, develop, and execute functional, integration, system-level, negative, fault-injection, and regression test scenarios using HIL environments.\nConfigure, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain HIL test benches, hardware interfaces, wiring harnesses, and plant models.\nIndependently manage HIL validation activities and ensure the reliability and stability of test environments.\nDevelop, enhance, and maintain scalable Python-based automated test frameworks and reusable test suites.\nAnalyze complex logs, network traces, diagnostic data, and system behavior to identify software defects and performance issues.\nPerform detailed debugging and root-cause investigations to distinguish product-level defects from hardware, configuration, or simulation-related issues.\nSupport defect reproduction, technical investigation, corrective validation, retesting, and closure.\nIdentify gaps in existing test coverage and recommend improvements to validation strategies and automation frameworks.\nMaintain test documentation, execution reports, requirement traceability, and validation status.\nCollaborate with software developers, systems engineers, hardware teams, and global stakeholders to resolve technical issues.\nProactively communicate project progress, technical risks, dependencies, and blockers.\nDrive continuous improvements in test execution efficiency, automation coverage, and overall validation quality.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer, Instrumentation, Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.\n4–5 years of relevant experience in HIL testing, embedded software validation, electronic controls, test automation, or system-level verification.\nStrong hands-on experience in HIL test bench configuration, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.\nStrong Python programming and test automation experience, including developing reusable automation scripts and test suites.\nProven ability to interpret complex technical requirements and independently develop comprehensive validation scenarios.\nStrong understanding of embedded systems, ECUs, electronic interfaces, and control systems.\nExperience executing functional, integration, system, negative, fault-injection, and regression testing.\nStrong debugging, log analysis, defect identification, and root-cause investigation skills.\nGood understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies, and defect management processes.\nAbility to independently manage validation activities and coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nHardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing and validation.\nHIL bench configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.\nFunctional, integration, system, negative, and regression testing.\nFault injection and simulation-based validation.\nTest strategy, scenario development, and requirement traceability.\nAdvanced Python scripting for test automation.\nDevelopment and maintenance of automated test suites.\nTest framework development and debugging.\nAutomation coverage and validation efficiency improvements.\nEmbedded software and ECU validation.\nCAN communication and diagnostics.\nSAE J1939 protocol knowledge.\nElectronic control systems and hardware interfaces.\nNetwork trace and diagnostic log analysis.\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\nStrong hands-on experience with dSPACE HIL systems and associated tools.\nExperience with MATLAB and Simulink, including configuring or modifying plant models.\nExperience designing HIL wiring harnesses and establishing complete HIL test benches.\nKnowledge of telematics systems, cellular connectivity, GNSS/GPS, remote services, and Over-the-Air (OTA) functionality.\nExperience validating machine electronic systems, automotive embedded controls, or industrial control systems.\nExperience improving existing automation frameworks and HIL validation processes.\n\nSoft Skills:\nStrong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving capabilities.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nStrong ownership and accountability for assigned validation activities.\nAbility to independently investigate complex technical issues.\nEffective collaboration with global and cross-functional engineering teams.\nAbility to communicate technical findings clearly to engineering stakeholders.\nFlexibility to adjust working hours based on reasonable project
