Engineering services: Comprehensive design, engineering, and validation capabilities for complete vehicle development projects: CAD, CAE and testing of all major vehicle functionalities. Proving grounds: The most comprehensive proving grounds in Europe and Asia, located in Spain and China. We are also accredited for Australia, Europe, Japan, Taiwan, Malaysia and give consultancy to other countries and regions such as South America (including Brazil), China, Middle East, Gulf Countries, ASEAN, USA and Canada, among others.\nWe are seeking a motivated and detail oriented GET/Intern to join our Homologation Department. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in vehicle type approval processes, regulatory compliance, and certification procedures across different global markets.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Activities:\nSupport the homologation process for vehicle type approvals (Indian, WVTA, UNECE, etc.)\nAssist in preparing technical documentation and dossiers for regulatory submissions\nReview technical specifications and ensure compliance with applicable regulations\nParticipate in vehicle testing coordination and witness testing activities\nSupport the analysis of test results and preparation of technical reports\nMaintain and update homologation databases and tracking systems\nAdministrative Support\nCoordinate with internal teams (testing, engineering, quality) and external stakeholders (authorities, manufacturers)\nAssist in communication with type approval authorities and certification bodies\nOrganize and maintainhomologation documentation and certification files\nSupport project timeline management and deadline tracking\nPrepare presentations and status reports for internal and client meetings\nLearning & Development\nParticipate in training programs on automotive regulations and standards\nLearn about different homologation frameworks (EU, UN ECE, US, Asia-Pacific regions)\nDevelop understanding of vehicle systems and their regulatory requirements\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nCurrently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree or Diploma in:\nAutomotive Engineering\nMechanical Engineering\nIndustrial Engineering\nElectrical/Electronic Engineering\nOr related technical field\nTechnical Skills\nBasic understanding of automotive systems and vehicle technology\nProficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)\nGood analytical and problem-solving abilities\nAttention to detail and strong organizational skills\nLanguage Skills\nEnglish: Fluent (written and spoken) - MANDATORY\nAdditional languages are a plus\nPersonal Competencies\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nProactive attitude and willingness to learn\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines\nInterest in automotive regulations and compliance\nStart Date\nFlexible - based on candidate availability and project needs\nEqual Opportunity\nApplus+ IDIADA is an equal opportunity employer.
