The target is not to work as both roles at the same time; a training plan has been defined in order to finally work as crash test engineer or test supervisor according to the workload of the crash test laboratory teams for the following months.\nCrash Test Engineer responsibilities:\nMaintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable testing protocols, standards, regulations, and procedures.\nUnderstand and manage customer requirements and instructions provided through Test Requests.\nPrepare the work instructions (checklists) required for the preparation of vehicles or test samples.\nMonitor test preparation activities, addressing and resolving any issues or questions that may arise.\nSupervise test execution, ensuring compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and specific customer requirements.\nManage and oversee all post-crash activities related to the test.\nReview, validate, and document test results, preparing the reports and technical documentation to be delivered to the customer.\nContribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes, procedures, and methodologies.\nReport directly to the Testing Lead or Project Manager assigned to the project.\nTest Supervisor responsibilities:\nMaintain comprehensive knowledge of applicable testing protocols, standards, regulations, and procedures.\nUnderstand and manage the requirements and instructions defined by the Crash Test Engineers through the corresponding checklists.\nPlan and optimize resources and execution schedules to maximize operational capacity and the number of tests performed.\nLead and coordinate the teams involved in test execution, including positioning, instrumentation, photography, track technicians, and additional support personnel.\nFollow the proper execution of tests, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and specific customer requirements.\nIdentify, assess, and manage technical risks, issues, or deviations that may compromise test results.\nEnsure compliance with laboratory quality procedures, safety requirements, and best practices.\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at optimizing testing processes, procedures, and methodologies.\n Profile:\n-Experience in the Automotive Industry will be an asset.\n-Good communication skills and strong relationship building skills.\n-Empathic, proactive, with team spirit and high level of assertiveness.\n-Confident in discussions at different hierarchical levels.\n-Flexible, resourceful and able to multi-task while establishing priorities and providing solutions.\n-Committed, goal driven, with successful result orientation and strong service orientation.\n-Open to work in a very international company with a multicultural team.\nEducation:\n-Engineering degree (desirable Mechanical or Electronics).\nLanguages:\n-A medium to high level of English is mandatory.\n-Any additional language will be positively valued.\n Morning & afternoon shifts depending on the week.\nApplus IDIADA is committed to equality, diversity and inclusion.
