We value continuous professional development, regular feedback discussions, and opportunities to further expand your skills as our new hub expands.\nYour Tasks\nYou implement market-specific app behavior, UI components, resources, and service integrations using Kotlin/Java, Jetpack Compose, and modular software architecture\n\nYou work across app and framework boundaries, integrating Android lifecycle, permissions, Binder/AIDL, system services, and Car APIs / CarService\n\nYou build and maintain reproducible build pipelines, Gradle multi-module setups, product flavors, and variant-aware automated testing within modern CI environments\n\nYou test and validate configurations across permission failures, service reconnects, process lifecycle events, and vehicle sleep/wake cycles\n\nYou leverage approved AI-assisted engineering tools for code exploration, implementation, test generation, and CI troubleshooting\n\nYou collaborate daily with cross-functional app/platform owners, release engineers, and international development teams across Mexico, the US, and Europe\n\nYour profile\nYou hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or offer equivalent professional practical experience\n\nYou bring 2+ years of professional hands-on experience in Android software engineering, with strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java\n\nYou demonstrate a solid understanding of Android fundamentals (lifecycle, coroutines, background execution, IPC, permissions) and modern UI toolkits (e.g. Jetpack Compose)\n\nYou possess a clear understanding of Android framework concepts, tracing requests into platform services, Binder/AIDL, and CarService integration\n\nYou have hands-on experience with Gradle (multi-module projects, product flavors), Git, automated unit/instrumentation testing, and CI automation tools (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)\n\nYou bring practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools, strong problem-solving skills, and fluent written and verbal English communication\n\nWe Offer\nFlexible working hours and modern digital equipment to support your daily work\n\nCentral, modern office space in Guadalajara\n\nComprehensive onboarding program with insights into all departments, including a 2-week stay in the USA with all travel and accommodation costs fully covered\n\nHigh-performing work environment with flat hierarchies and short decision-making processes\n\nTransparent communication through regular all-hands meetings, 1on1s, and annual feedback sessions\n\nIndividual growth opportunities and training programs through our Appsfactory Academy\n\nWe are pleased to meet you!\nWe value diversity and therefore welcome all applications -
