We hold ourselves to high standards, celebrate progress as much as results, and believe that excellence and kindness go hand in hand.\nYour role:\nYou’ll be a key player in AppsFlyer’s continued growth in Japan, managing a book of business across existing SMB clients while bringing new customers into the fold.\nYou’ll act as a trusted advisor to some of the most innovative app developers and marketers in the region, helping them unlock value through data-driven marketing and AppsFlyer’s suite of measurement solutions. You’ll also evangelize AppsFlyer as the Measurement Authority in Japan, driving adoption and market education.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\nOwn the full sales cycle, from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and close, across both existing and new SMB customers.\nDevelop and implement account plans aligned with customer objectives and growth strategies.\nDrive value-based selling using MEDDPICC framework and Challenger Sales methodology\nUse data and insights to tell compelling stories, influencing customer strategy and demonstrating AppsFlyer’s business impact.\nBuild strong relationships with decision makers across marketing, product, analytics, and leadership teams.\nMaintain a holistic view of your entire book of business to proactively identify growth opportunities, retention risks, and actions needed to improve performance.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Sales Development, Customer Success, Partnerships, Marketing and Resellers to deliver an exceptional customer experience.\nDevelop deep expertise in competitor products and strategies, using that insight to craft clear competitive advantages and compelling, customer-specific value propositions.\nEnsure executional excellence by maintaining accurate forecasts, monitoring KPIs, and minimizing churn through proactive account management.\nExceed revenue and retention targets with disciplined pipeline management and growth mindset.\nWhat you have:\n5-8 years of sales experience, including at least 3 years in B2B SaaS sales with Japanese companies.\nProven record of meeting or exceeding quota in competitive environments.\nStrong understanding of the MarTech and AdTech ecosystem, including mobile analytics, attribution, and marketing automation.\nAnalytical and insight-driven, skilled at crafting data-driven narratives that influence decision-making.\nHighly proficient at leveraging AI and modern sales tools to force-multiply productivity, accelerate research, sharpen messaging, and elevate overall sales execution.\nTech-forward, curious, and comfortable adopting new workflows that improve efficiency and customer value.\nExcellent communicator in Japanese (native) and English (business level), confident engaging both technical and executive audiences.\nEntrepreneurial, adaptable, and motivated by collaboration and shared success.\nMaster’s degree preferred.\nBonus Points:\nExperience working with Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) platforms.\nBeing introduced by an AppsFlyer team member\nPosition Number: 2,666\nAppsFlyer is a global company with 20 offices worldwide.
