Robotics is a multidisciplinary domain, and we highly value strong technical first-principle thinkers with strong electrical engineering fundamentals in this role.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nDesign, simulate, implement, and test multi-layer mixed signal PCBAs.\nRapid prototyping of electrical systems at both system and board levels.\nSimulate and verify electronics and electrical system requirements.\nGenerate design documentation such as schematics, block diagrams, test plans and procedures, fabrication and assembly drawings.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, thermal, systems engineers, and manufacturing. \nExecute comprehensive validation and test plans, design necessary test fixtures, and execute rigorous testing to confirm compliance with performance specifications and regulatory standards (e.g., FCC, CE, UL).\nParticipate in the debugging and root cause analysis related to hardware and software defect resolution.\nProvide ongoing support of existing designs.\nSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS\nFamiliarity with CAD tools including Altium or similar tools.\nProven experience designing, prototyping, and debugging PCB/PCBAs.\nFamiliarity/experience with electronics lab tools and simulation tools (ex: LTSpice, PSpice).\nExcellent communication (verbal & written); will be expected to develop detailed build assembly instructions and diagrams.\nExcellent problem-solving and hardware debugging skills.\nHands-on experience with prototyping and testing, including the use of lab equipment.\nTravel up to 10% within the US and internationally.\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\nBachelors, Masters, or PhD degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related field.\n2+ years of experience in electrical engineering.\nNICE TO HAVE:\nPrior experience designing electronics for lightweight, space-constrained systems\nExperience implementing embedded systems on robots and troubleshooting hardware\nKnowledge of emerging technologies such as AI accelerators or quantum computing is a plus \nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer \nMust be able to lift 15 pounds at times\nVision to read printed materials and a computer screen\nHearing and speech to communicate \n*This is a direct hire.
