You will join a team dedicated to bringing Apollo to market at scale, tackling the complex challenges like safety, commercialization, and mass production to change the world for the better.\nJOB SUMMARY\nAs a Technical Product Manager - Simulation, you will focus on driving the product vision, ensuring seamless execution across the complex hardware/software divide, and translating market demands into user oriented, executable product roadmaps. \nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES or KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES\nOwn and maintain the simulation platforms roadmap: scope, sequencing, and feature priorities.\nDrive the technical definition of simulation environments focusing on perception, autonomy, and navigation for robot fleets.\nDefine and prioritize use cases for simulating realistic customer environments to enable thorough testing before real-world deployment.\nEnsure that the simulation platform features a highly configurable and intuitive UX viable for developers to easily create, modify, and analyze test scenarios.\nDefine and prioritize use cases based on business impact, feasibility, and customer needs.\nEnsure that product development efforts align with real-world economic value for customers.\nSynthesize insights from user research, customer meetings, usage data, and sales feedback into a strategy that delivers business objectives and customer benefits.\nDefine product features/enhancements and communicate requirements to engineering teams via clearly written requirements documents, diagrams, and concise verbal communication.\nSupport product marketing initiatives, partner relationships, and other opportunities to accelerate the adoption of your products.\nSKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS\nDemonstrated experience in developing or managing simulation environments, simulation-in-the-loop testing frameworks, or developer tools.\nExperience working with physics engines, robotic simulation engines, rendering pipelines, or digital twins for industrial environments.\nStrong analytical skills with experience in performance tracking and data-driven decision-making.\nExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to translate technical insights into business impact.\nYou make decisions in uncertainty, prioritizing velocity over perfection\nYou prioritize user feedback, promoting that voice to internal teams.\nNice to Have:\nExperience with autonomous robots or autonomous vehicles.\nExperience with Unity, Issac, or MuJoCo.\nExperience generating synthetic data for perception, autonomy, and navigation stacks.\nBackground in developing UI/UX for complex technical or developer-facing tools.\n\nEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE\n7+ years of experience in product management, or engineering roles.\nPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS\nProlonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer \nMust be able to lift 15 pounds at times\nVision to read printed materials and a computer screen\nHearing and speech to communicate\nThe annual salary range is $190,000 - $223,000 base \n*This is a direct hire.
