Team members residing within the New York City metropolitan area must maintain a minimum on-site presence of three days per week.\nKey responsibilities\nProvide help desk support for US-based employees\n\nOwn onboarding and offboarding for US-based employees, including equipment procurement, desk setup, and user provisioning\n\nAdminister user access and devices across our identity provider, SSO, and MDM platform in a macOS environment\n\nAssist with security operations, including first-line EDR alert triage and evidence collection for SOC 1/2 compliance\n\nMaintain clear documentation for systems and processes\n\nExperience\n2+ years of experience in IT roles\n\nHands-on experience administering macOS devices through an MDM platform\n\nExperience with identity providers and SSO (e.g., Google Workspace, Okta, Microsoft Entra ID, or similar)\n\nExperience setting up and supporting video conferencing and meeting-room systems\n\nAbility to work independently across time zones and prioritize effectively\n\nBonus points!\nCompTIA A+ or Network+, or Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP)\n\nScripting experience in Bash or Python for automating routine tasks\n\nExperience with EDR platforms or compliance automation tools\n\nPractical networking experience configuring and troubleshooting switches, access points, and firewalls, with working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and VPNs\nIn compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.\n\nAbout april\napril is the only embedded, year-round tax platform built to power smarter financial decisions.
