This role serves as the QMS custodian and primary point of contact for all quality-related matters, ensuring that quality processes are effectively implemented, maintained, audited, measured, and improved throughout the organisation.\nKey Responsibilities:\nQuality management system ownership\nMaintain full responsibility for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system (QMS).\nEnsure all QMS processes, procedures, records, and controls are established, implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.\nEnsure ongoing compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements and certification standards.\nMonitor QMS effectiveness and recommend improvement initiatives.\nReport on QMS performance, risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.\nMaintain effective communication with the certification body and coordinate all certification activities.\nInternal & external auditing\nDevelop and manage the annual internal audit programme.\nConduct internal process and departmental audits in accordance with the audit schedule.\nPrepare audit reports and ensure timely closure of audit findings.\nDevelop and manage supplier audit schedules and conduct critical supplier audits.\nConduct subcontractor qualification and assessment audits as required.\nCoordinate and manage all external audits, including certification, surveillance, and client audits.\nFacilitate root cause analysis and corrective actions arising from audit findings.\nSupplier quality management\nMaintain and manage the approved supplier list.\nCoordinate annual supplier evaluations and monitor supplier performance.\nIssue supplier alerts where required and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed.\nParticipate in supplier qualification and vendor approval processes.\nProvide quality-related information for vendor applications and customer prequalification submissions.\nDocument & process control\nMaintain and update the quality manual and all controlled QMS documentation.\nReview and update the quality policy, organisational context, interested parties register, risks and opportunities register, and strategic direction documentation.\nEnsure effective document control and record retention processes.\nMonitor departmental quality objectives and report performance against targets.\nTraining & awareness\nFacilitate quality management system induction training for new employees.\nProvide QMS awareness and process training to employees as required.\nPromote a culture of quality, compliance, and continual improvement across the organisation.\nNon-conformance & corrective action management\nManage the non-conformance reporting (NCR) process.\nCoordinate investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and effectiveness reviews.\nEnsure customer complaints are investigated, recorded, addressed, and closed out effectively.\nMonitor corrective and preventive actions arising from audits, incidents, complaints, and improvement initiatives.\nCustomer satisfaction & continual improvement\nManage customer satisfaction surveys and feedback processes.\nAnalyse customer feedback and identify improvement opportunities.\nMaintain customer feedback and complaint registers.\nCoordinate lessons learned activities and communicate outcomes across the business.\nDrive continual improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives and ISO 9001 requirements.\nManagement review & reporting\nPlan, prepare, coordinate, and facilitate annual management review meetings.\nCompile presentations, reports, performance metrics, and improvement recommendations.\nMonitor and ensure closure of management review actions.\nMaintain QMS performance reporting dashboards and quality metrics.\nCompliance & equipment control\nMonitor equipment control registers and ensure calibration, inspections, certifications, and testing activities are completed as required.\nEnsure compliance-related records are maintained and reviewed.\nMonitor quality risks and mitigation actions.\nGroup & stakeholder engagement\nAct as the organisation's primary quality assurance representative.\nParticipate in Group QA meetings and provide quality performance input.\nLiaise with customers, suppliers, auditors, certification bodies, and other external stakeholders on quality matters.\nInternal relationships:\n Top Management. \n Department Managers. \nColleagues.\nExternal relationships:\n Certification bodies.\n Customers. \nSuppliers and Subcontractors \nKnowledge\nIn-depth understanding of ISO 9001:2015 requirements and quality management principles. \nStrong knowledge of quality assurance, auditing methodologies, risk management, and continual improvement practices. \nKnowledge of corrective action systems and root cause analysis techniques.\nMatric (Grade 12). \nISO 9001:2015 introduction.\nISO 9001:2015 implementation.\nISO 9001:2015 internal auditor.\nQualifications/Experience\nMinimum 3-5 years' experience maintaining and improving an ISO 9001 quality management system. \nProven experience conducting internal and supplier audits. \nExperience coordinating external certification audits. \nExperience managing corrective action and continual improvement processes.\nGeneral requirements:\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English.\nAfrikaans proficiency advantageous.\nValid driver's licence.\nPersonal attributes:\nStrong attention to detail. \nPlanning and
