About the Role
The System Administrator’s role is to ensure the optimal performance, stability and integrity of the organization’s systems infrastructure. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all hardware, software and telecommunications.
The System Administrator will:
- Maintain network efficiency, troubleshoot issues and ensure necessary system updates and improvements.
- Administer and support on premise infrastructure and Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams and OneDrive, SD-WAN and ZTNA VPN.
- Collaboratively assess technology needs and system requirements.
- Assist in developing short and long-term capacity planning for hardware, software, network and infrastructure needs.
- Develop and maintain documentation and end-user guides.
- Implement software releases, rollouts and vendor supplied patches according to change management best practices.
- Field incoming requests to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end-user issues.
- Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot associated end-user workstation hardware and software.
