remote operating environment.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and implement procurement strategies to support mining operations and business objectives.\nManage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, tendering, supplier evaluation, negotiations, purchase orders, and contract administration.\nOversee the procurement of mining equipment, machinery, spare parts, maintenance materials, consumables, and operational supplies.\nIdentify and evaluate suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.\nNegotiate pricing, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.\nCoordinate with mining operations, engineering, maintenance, logistics, and warehouse teams to determine procurement requirements.\nEnsure the timely delivery of critical equipment, spare parts, and materials to minimize operational disruptions.\nMonitor supplier performance and resolve issues relating to quality, delivery, pricing, and contractual compliance.\nManage procurement budgets, expenditure forecasts, and cost-control initiatives.\nEstablish and maintain strong relationships with local and international suppliers.\nEnsure compliance with company procurement policies, applicable regulations, and operational standards.\nAssess supply chain risks and develop contingency plans to address potential shortages and delivery delays.\nLead and supervise procurement personnel and promote continuous improvement in procurement processes.\nRequirements\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\n18-20 years of relevant procurement experience, with substantial experience in the mining industry.\nProven experience in procurement for mining operations, industrial projects, or large-scale resource operations.\nStrong knowledge of mining equipment, heavy machinery, spare parts, maintenance materials, and operational supplies.\nExtensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, and cost optimization.\nAbility to manage procurement requirements in remote or challenging operating environments.\nExperience working with international suppliers and managing cross-border procurement and logistics is an advantage.\nStrong commercial awareness, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.\nExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nProficiency in procurement systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.\nAbility to manage multiple
