Job Summary:
The Testing & Commissioning Engineer is responsible for testing, inspecting, and commissioning elevator systems to ensure safe, smooth, and compliant operation before handover to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct testing and commissioning of elevators (passenger, home lifts, goods lifts, etc.)
- Ensure proper installation and alignment as per technical drawings and standards
- Perform safety checks, load tests, and operational trials
- Identify and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Coordinate with installation team for rectification of defects
- Ensure compliance with safety norms and statutory regulations
- Prepare commissioning reports and documentation
- Attend site inspections with clients/consultants
- Support handover process and client demonstrations
- Provide basic training to clients/end-users after commissioning
