The position provides broad exposure to Aptiv’s global finance organization and offers opportunities to improve reporting processes through automation and continuous improvement.\nYour Role\nSupport the monthly and quarterly global financial consolidation process, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.\nPrepare monthly journal entries required to complete the consolidation process.\nPrepare financial statements and supporting documentation for monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting.\nPartner with business accounting teams to review trial balances and resolve consolidation-related matters.\nPrepare ad hoc financial analyses in response to management requests.\nIdentify and implement opportunities to improve consolidation processes through automation and continuous improvement.\nSupport internal and external audits, including requested documentation and related procedures.\nAssist with SOX compliance documentation, testing, and special finance projects.\nYour Background\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.\n2 to 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally spanning public accounting and a corporate accounting environment.\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting requirements.\nExperience supporting financial close, consolidation, journal entry, or financial statement preparation activities.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities.\nProven ability to collaborate across functions and build effective relationships within a diverse, global organization.\nAbility and interest to take on broader responsibilities within the Finance organization.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA license or equivalent professional accounting certification.\nExperience with Hyperion Financial Management, HFM, or a comparable financial consolidation system.\nWhy Join Aptiv?\nYou grow at Aptiv.
