This role defines and maintains reusable design standards, reference patterns, templates and test frameworks to enable scalable, secure and efficient delivery across the enterprise. The position partners with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to translate approved use cases into high-quality solution designs that are aligned with enterprise architecture, platform standards and governance requirements.\nReporting to the Senior Manager, Analytics and AI Architecture, this role works in close collaboration with platform architects, solution architects, cyber security architects, enterprise architects, DevOps engineers and business requestors, the AI Solution Architect develops both high-level and low-level designs that maximise reuse, improve delivery efficiency and reduce unnecessary proliferation of agents and tooling. The role also assesses emerging platforms, models and tools to inform Aptiv’s enterprise AI development approach and ensure solutions are built on the most appropriate, supportable and scalable capabilities.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDesign and deliver scalable, secure, and business-focused AI agent solutions and intelligent workflows.\nDevelop architecture standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices for AI assistants, agents, and automation solutions.\nPartner with business stakeholders and technical teams to define requirements, identify opportunities, and translate ideas into practical AI solutions.\nEstablish testing, evaluation, and governance frameworks to ensure AI solutions are reliable, safe, compliant, and fit for purpose.\nCollaborate with architects, engineers, and security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, data, integration, and compliance standards.\nDrive reuse, simplification, and adoption of enterprise AI platforms, reducing duplication and promoting standardized approaches.\nEvaluate emerging AI technologies, platforms, and architectural patterns to support innovation and continuous improvement.\nContribute to the evolution of Aptiv’s enterprise AI strategy, architecture standards, and delivery capabilities.\nRequired Experience and Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.\nStrong solution, application or enterprise architecture experience in complex global environments.\nHands-on experience designing AI, automation, integration or workflow solutions on enterprise cloud platforms.\nExperience with generative AI, AI agents, copilots, RAG and workflow orchestration.\nStrong knowledge of high- and low-level design, architecture documentation and design assurance.\nExperience testing and evaluating AI or software solutions, including non-functional quality.\nExperience taking solutions from concept to delivery across business and technical teams.\nUnderstanding of enterprise integration, security, identity, data, support and reuse principles.\nStrong knowledge of Microsoft Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry and related cloud and security capabilities.\nAbility to balance speed, maintainability, cost, risk, control and business value.\nStrong communication, documentation and stakeholder management skills.\nAI-ready data engineering for AI/ML pipelines, feature stores and vector databases.\nAdvanced conceptual, logical, physical and semantic data modelling.\nDesign of automated, scalable and resilient batch and streaming ETL/ELT pipelines.\nManagement of data lifecycles and storage tiers across lakes and warehouses.\nData quality, privacy, lineage and secure governance for compliant AI solutions.\nWhy join Aptiv\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
