As an Embedded AI expert, you will also share your knowledge and support other engineers in developing their technical skills.\nYour Role\nExpertise Senior Engineer in Embedded AI, lead activities, train others to improve their skills\nBenchmark and develop prototypes for proof of concept phase\nDevelop and apply tools and methods enabling related activities\nSupport hardware selection processes and become company expert for AI SoCs\nInterdisciplinary communication with algorithm experts and system developers\nYour Background\nMaster or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics or related field\nExpert with proven background in embedded software development (5 years +)\nProfessional hands-on experience in Embedded AI, DSP / accelerator real-time implementation (2 years +)\nMust have strong programming skills in C, C++ including applying compiler and debugging methods\nExperience with RUST is a plus\nExperience in development of deep learning (transformers would be a plus) from scientific or professional back ground, preferably in perception domain\nExperience with code optimization approaches, well understanding of memory dependencies\nFamiliar with fixed point implementation and quantization and tool development in that area\nFamiliar with instruction sets and memory architectures, FPGA, DSP and AI processors\nNVIDIA THOR experience is a plus\nExcellent analytical skills and a good mathematical background\nAbility to understand complex AI/ML based algorithms on all levels, capability to find alternative implementations that have impact on runtime\nGeneral knowledge about perception, tracking, fusion and path planning algorithms is a plus\nExperience in the automotive field is not mandatory but a plus\nWhy join Aptiv ?\nYou grow at Aptiv.
