The role supports customer and vendor account management, invoice and payment processing, account reconciliation, month-end closing, aging analysis, financial reporting, and audit compliance while maintaining strong financial controls and supporting overall business objectives.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.\nOversee customer and vendor account management, including invoice issuance, payment processing, and dispute resolution.\nPerform account reconciliations and balance sheet reviews to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities in compliance with corporate accounting policies and reporting requirements.\nMonitor AR and AP aging reports and proactively drive collection and payment activities to optimize cash flow and working capital.\nPrepare and analyze financial reports related to receivables, payables, and cash management.\nEnsure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.\nSupport internal and external audit activities by preparing documentation and responding to audit inquiries.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Purchasing, Logistics, Operations, and Finance, to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.\nIdentify and implement process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness within accounting operations.\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Accounting, or Financial Operations within a manufacturing environment.\nStrong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and month-end closing processes.\nExperience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.\nPrivacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidates\nAptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
