The role combines data development, analytics, business intelligence, and automation, with a focus on creating scalable solutions and following data engineering and analytics best practices.\nResponsibilities\nAnalyze complex data and deliver actionable business insights to cross-functional teams.\nWork with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into data and analytics solutions.\nBuild dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or other modern BI tools.\nSupport data flows from ingestion through transformation, modeling, and visualization.\nPerform data cleaning and modeling when required data is not available in the visualization layer.\nDevelop and maintain solutions using SQL, Python, and dbt.\nCreate tools, processes, and automation that reduce the burden on the data stack and support stakeholder requirements.\nMonitor new analytics initiatives, identify barriers to adoption, and support corrective actions.\nPromote data engineering and analytics best practices and collaborate with junior engineers.\nYour Background\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science; emphasis in Data Engineering is a plus.\n1+ years of experience with Tableau or another modern BI tool.\n1+ year of SQL experience; Snowflake SQL is preferred.\n1+ year of experience with dbt; semantic layer experience is a plus.\n2+ years of Python development experience.\nExperience with enterprise systems such as Workday, Oracle Business Suite (OBI/HRIS), Salesforce, Jira, Adaptive, or Anaplan is a plus.\nHTML and JavaScript experience as related to Looker is preferred.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to take ownership and initiative.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.\nFluent written and verbal communication skills.\nMust meet the applicable authorization and security requirements associated with the position. \nWhy Join Aptiv / Wind River\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
