This is how we enable sustainable mobility and help to prevent accidents caused by human error.\nWe are currently looking for a Customer Quality Engineer\nMission:\nDemonstrate a customer centric mindset to better understand customer needs and deliver customized services that strengthen trust, satisfaction, and continuous improvement. \nAct as the communication bridge between internal functions and the customer to ensure clear, efficient, and aligned information flow between Customer and APTIV. \nEnsure that Customer and APTIV requirements, quality targets, and expectations are understood and fulfilled across all product lines. \nServe as the Customer Representative in accordance with IATF 16949 standards. \nAct as the Yazaki Global Quality representative, ensuring adherence to global quality processes and expectations.\nNature and responsibilities of the position:\nEnvironment:\nThe position of \"Customer Quality Engineer \" reports to the \"Regional Customer Quality Manager & CS\" of Aptiv Connection Systems, a subsidiary of Aptiv Corporation, an American multinational operating in the automotive industry.\nNature of Function and Activities:\nSupport the Customer Quality activities across EMEA, with a focus on North Africa operations, while aligning with Yazaki global expectations. \nUnderstand and analyse customer scorecards, communicate results internally, and help drive actions to maintain or recover performance. \nRecommend corrective actions at plant level and escalate issues when actions are not properly implemented. \nIdentify and understand customer specific requirements and ensure they are clearly communicated within the Aptiv organization. \nMaintain a strong customer relationship through regular presence at customer sites. \nAct as the first escalation level for customer issues and support the management of escalations. \nSupport preparation and follow up of management reviews with the customer. \nMonitor complaint resolution (initial response, 3D, 8D…) to ensure timely and high quality responses and promote continuous improvement. \nCapture and share lessons learned across all plants to prevent recurrence of issues. \nSupport and coordinate teams during critical customer activities (pilots, startups). \nFollow up systemic improvement plans and verify the effectiveness of corrective actions.\nParticipate in customer audits and support plants in maintaining required documentation (e.g., SharePoint). \nIdentify internal weaknesses, suggest improvement opportunities, and support the implementation of improvement initiatives. \nCollaborate with operations to define needed quality support for new projects, transfers, engineering changes, and rework. \nSupport all customer quality related activities using structured problem solving methods and ensure proper communication with the customer at all levels.\nAssure timely and accurate reporting is available for APTIV and Customers Management Review and analysis;\nSupport the warranty activities;\nLiaise with manufacturing plants and provide feedback on customer performance to ensure quality is maintained at world-class levels.\nSupport flow 4 (APQP) activities ;\nSupport plants on customer visits / audits and support flawless launches (flow 4 and launch phase) and respective Audits and approvals;\nSurveille and work side-by-side with the manufacturing plants Teams that internal reporting system content are matching with external VOC (portals or alternatives methods).\nBackground:\nBac+5 or equivalent in scientific or technical specialty, or proven experience in the field of quality in the automotive or plastics industry.\nSkills:\nQuality, Engineering or similar technical degree;\nOrganizational Skills;\nManagement Skills and Teamwork;\nProject Management Skills & Customer Service\nCommunication skills;\nMs Office ; Excel , Power BI & Statistics software : MiniTab \nCreativity and Critical Thinking;\nAdaptability & Consistency;\nProblem Solving Skills & 6Sigma knowledge.\nPositive, Transparent, Easy to do business with, Dependable; „Can Do” and „Go and See” attitude and behaviours:\nKnowledge of the language and culture in use at the respective customers\nExperience on Automotive Industry more than 2 years ( Quality process , Customer or quality data analyst )\nPrivacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidates\nAptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
