In this role, you will be contributing to the development of Autonomous/ADAS/AD/HAD/Active Safety Projects. This position is located at our Indiana Technical Center in Carmel, IN (relocation offered within the USA).\nResponsibilities\nDevelop and integrate embedded software for Radar DSP in support of Adjacent Markets.\nThe software engineer develops software, creates and executes designs for new functionality, or enhances existing functionality for projects such as:Next generation automotive radars, tracking and sensor fusion algorithms, features like ACC, FCW/AEB, Vehicle Controls, Blind Spot Detection, etc.\nEngineers develop software in low level code in C/C++.\nThey also test software using debuggers, emulators and simulators; perform software quality assurance activities; write unit and integration tests and work collaboratively and professionally with other teams within the project.\nCollaborates and adds value through participation in peer code reviews, providing comments and suggestions.\nPerforms technical root cause analysis and outlines corrective action for given problems.\nDemonstrates proficiency using software engineering tools (configuration management systems, build processes, debuggers, emulators, simulators and logic analyzers).\nWorks in an agile software development environment. \nMust Haves (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree in a Technical Discipline\n5+ years of experience in embedded software design and development\nDigital Signal Processing experience\n\"Must be legally able to work in the U.S. without requirement of any type of visa sponsorship or transfer, now, or at any time in the future\".\nNice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)\nMaster’s degree in a Technical Discipline\nExperience with MathWorks MATLAB\nExperience or courses with linear algebra\nExperience with automated testing\nMulti core/processor system implementation knowledge and experience\nExperience on device driver development, CAN / CAN FD communication, SPI, MCAL\nExperience on memory management, memory optimizations, performance measurement and tuning\nEmbedded development experience in Radar or other perception systems\nExperience on Ethernet and CAN communication\nUnderstanding and experience on ISO26262 compliance software design and development\nEmbedded OS (POSIX or non-POSIX) understanding and experience\nExperience in AUTOSAR software development or integration projects an advantage\nADAS software development experience\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
