To us, nothing is impossible when you have the people with the passion to make anything possible.\nJob Position: Failure Analysis Engineer / Senior Engineer\nDepartment: Quality\nPrimary Job Purpose:\nLead and perform Analyses of automotive electronics products.\nDevelop strategies and implement adequate methods in the Lab for Failure Analyses and Tear down\nStandardize FA techniques to faster analysis.\nSynergize FA activities by working with local and global teams as needed\nLead FA technicians on Elemental & Metallurgical Analyses (SEM< EDX, FTIR, Micro cross section etc.), Non-Destructive Analyses (CT Scan, SAM, Laser Confocal Microscope etc.), Thermal Analyses (DSE, TGA), Physical & Mechanical Analyses (Hardness, Texture, Contact Angle, CMM, Smart scope, Tensile tester etc.)\nImprove FA lab capabilities in 4M aspects\nParticipate and demonstrate Failure Analysis capabilities to customers\nJob Requirements:\nPh.D. in Material science / Master or Bachelor Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Physics/Material Science.\n5 to 7 years’ experience in a semiconductor or automotive electronics manufacturing environment is preferred.\nExperience in application of Failure analysis tools / methodologies\nExperience in handling Failure Analysis Lab.\nGood interpersonal, leadership, analytical and communication skills.\nReports To: Manager / Director\nPrivacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidates\nAptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
