This role will be a member of the local Boston IT team. The role requires strong technical capability, excellent judgment, discretion, flexibility, and the ability to move fast when business priorities change.\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\n· Provide responsive, high-quality IT support to Boston-based employees, executives, and Executive Assistants as part of the local IT support model.\n· Serve as a trusted point of contact for executive IT needs, including sensitive, confidential, and business-critical requests requiring discretion and sound judgment.\n· Support in-person support experience, helping ensure issues are handled professionally and resolved in a timely manner.\n· Take ownership of assigned incidents, requests, and escalations from intake through resolution, coordinating across infrastructure, workplace technology, security, and other support teams as needed.\n· Act with urgency on high-priority Boston site issues, ensuring timely communication, clear expectations, and effective follow-through with stakeholders.\n· Support device lifecycle activities, including provisioning, refresh coordination, troubleshooting, mobile device support, and end-user technology enablement.\n· Provide AV/VC and meeting room technology support, helping maintain a reliable experience for local meetings, executive meetings, and hybrid collaboration.\n· Assist with local infrastructure support activities, maintenance, upgrades, and migrations in partnership with the appropriate infrastructure and workplace technology teams.\n· Follow established IT service management, security, compliance, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures.\n· Identify operational risks, recurring issues, and service improvement opportunities, and raise them through the appropriate team channels.\n· Maintain accurate updates in ticketing systems and support reporting on operational activity, service quality, and recurring support trends as requested.\n· Translate technical issues into clear, practical language for non-technical stakeholders and maintain a strong customer experience throughout the support process.\nYOUR BACKGROUND\n· Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\n· Significant hands-on IT support experience in a corporate environment, preferably supporting senior leaders and Executive Assistants.\n· Proven ability to manage sensitive and high-priority support situations with professionalism, discretion, and strong customer focus.\n· Strong ownership mindset with the ability to drive issues to resolution while working collaboratively as part of a team.\n· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills, including the ability to simplify complex technical topics for non-technical users.\n· Strong decision-making, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.\n· Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work flexibly, and respond with urgency when business needs require it.\n· Knowledge of ITIL or similar IT service management practices.\n· Experience troubleshooting Windows, macOS, iOS, mobile devices, collaboration tools, and common enterprise applications.\n· Experience with MDM solutions such as JAMF, Microsoft Intune, and zero-touch deployment processes.\n· Familiarity with SaaS platforms, SSO concepts, Entra ID, Active Directory, software deployment, patching, and basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN.\nPreferred Certifications\n· ITIL Foundation certification or higher.\n· Relevant technical certifications, such as Microsoft Certified, Cisco, Apple Support Professional, or equivalent practical certifications.\n· Project management or service management training is beneficial but not essential.\nWHY JOIN APTIV\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
