For our engineering center in Krakow, Poland, we are currently seeking Expert AI/ML Data Engineer to work on in-vehicle data quality checks, automation of validation drives and in-vehicle data insights for Hands Off Urban Driving solution.\nThis role combines data experience with hands-on data engineering skills and supports development solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading data into cloud platforms and tools.\nJoin us at this exciting moment in the Innovation Engineering group and take part in the design of a big data system fed and tightly interacting with Aptiv cutting-edge embedded driver assistance and user experience solutions.\nYour Role\nImplement in-vehicle data quality checks and metrics to meet functional requirement\nImplement solutions for data triaging and automation of validation drives.\nImplement, execute and incorporate in-vehicle data insights\nImplement solutions for extracting, transforming and loading to data platforms and tools\nAdapt and develop technologies related to big data\nImplement APIs, clean and organize raw and processed data\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and domain experts\nImplement data pipelines and data processing tools to meet the needs of our data science and analytics initiatives\nYour Background\nMSc degree in Data Science, Robotics, Computer Science or Related\nProficiency in applying data analytics, algorithm design, and machine learning\nProficiency in software development using Python\nExperience in C++ or Rust, scripting and query languages (e.g., bash, SQL)\nHands on experience in preparing data for AI/ML model development\nKnowledge of statistics and data science essentials\nVery good problem solving and debugging skills\nGood command in spoken and written English \n\nAny of the following will be highly beneficial:\n· Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or Azure and Docker / Containers / Kubernetes\n· Experience with embedded or edge AI systems.\n· Familiarity with ADAS, autonomous driving, or automotive datasets\n· Experience with Git, CI/CD\n· Exposure to automotive standards, safety, or validation workflows (e.g., ISO 26262 awareness)\nWhy Join Aptiv\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
