In this fast growing and innovative technology area, you would be working in an international team of computer vision and machine learning experts to shape the future of mobility with us.\nYour role\nDesign, train, evaluate, and optimize state-of-the-art machine learning models for camera-based perception. \nApply modern approaches such as transformers, vision transformers, convolutional neural networks, representation learning, and self-supervised learning. \nImprove model performance, robustness, generalization, computational efficiency, and inference latency. \nShare knowledge and help strengthen engineering excellence within the team. \nCollaborate with software engineers, system engineers, validation teams, and other AI/ML specialists across an international organization. \nYour background\nMaster's degree or higher in computer science, applied mathematics or related field \nPractical experience with several of the following:\n-Transformers and vision transformers\n-Convolutional neural networks\n-Representation learning\n-Self-supervised or semi-supervised learning\n-Classical computer vision\n-Large-scale model training\nStrong foundation in linear algebra, probability, and optimization. \nStrong programming skills in Python and experience writing maintainable, production-quality code. \nA commitment to software quality, including testing, documentation, code reviews, and reproducible development practices. \nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. \nEffective written and verbal communication skills in English. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in development in Rust or C++\nExperience in development of production-grade AI solutions \nExperience with Git, CI/CD, and Agile development. \nFamiliarity with ADAS, autonomous driving, or automotive datasets. \nUnderstanding of classical computer vision and camera calibration \nExperience with large-scale training infrastructure. \nFamiliarity with embedded or resource-constrained AI deployment. \nWhy join us?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
