You will be involved in feature development, certification activities, and defect resolution while working closely with software engineers, architects, and product management teams.\nThe team is responsible for developing and certifying VxWorks/HVP features on platforms such as ARM and IA. You will gain hands-on experience working on real-world projects while contributing to the development of world-class system software for next-generation hardware and software platforms\nResponsibilities\nSupport the development of software modules for VxWorks and HVP products.\nContribute to feature implementation, certification activities, and defect resolution.\nCollaborate with product management and system architects to understand and implement product requirements.\nParticipate in the development and certification of software running on ARM, IA, and related platforms.\nTake initiative in identifying opportunities to improve features and engineering processes.\nContribute ideas for product enhancements and future iterations.\nWork effectively with global software engineering teams.\nLearn from experienced engineers while contributing to real project deliverables.\nWork closely with an assigned mentor and take advantage of training and development opportunities.\nYour Background\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.\nPreferred candidates will be in their third or fourth year of study.\nCompleted Operating Systems coursework as part of their academic program.\nStrong understanding of RTOS fundamentals.\nGood understanding of embedded systems fundamentals.\nFamiliarity with building and developing software modules.\nExposure to driver or board-level software development and integration is considered an asset.\nC/C++ programming skills are considered an asset.\nExcellent analytical and debugging skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nInterest in working in a collaborative engineering environment and learning from a global development team.\nMust meet the eligibility requirements associated with covered network and security-sensitive projects.\nWhy Join Aptiv / Wind River\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
