You will become an active member of the engineering team, participating in daily Scrum activities, collaborating on technical tasks, and gaining hands-on industry experience in low-level systems programming and software development.\nYour Responsibilities\nContribute to real engineering projects, including bug fixes, enhancements, and software improvements within existing products. \nParticipate in daily Scrum meetings and Agile development activities. \nWork closely with team members to develop, test, and maintain software components.\nUtilize Linux/Unix command-line tools and shell scripting as part of daily development activities. \nApply software engineering best practices, including source control management using Git. \nGain exposure to professional software development processes and contribute meaningful deliverables that provide value to the business. \nYour Background\nCurrently pursuing a Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.\nStrong programming skills in C. \nFamiliarity with Python and Bash/Shell scripting. \nExperience working in Linux or Unix command-line environments. \nExposure to low-level systems programming concepts.\nUnderstanding of software engineering fundamentals and development practices. \nExperience using Git for version control.\nKnowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum practices is a plus. \nCoursework or exposure related to compilers, assembly language, operating systems, or low-level computer architecture is highly desirable. \nPrevious internship, programming competition, or hands-on software project experience is a plus.\nCompiler course experience.\nAssembly language exposure.\nSystems programming coursework.\nFamiliarity with software development in collaborative Agile environments.\nWhy Join Aptiv / Wind River\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv's winning culture is global by design.
