To help us get there, active safety plays a crucial role by preventing the accident altogether.\nAptiv's Next-Gen ADAS platform is the foundation for advanced active safety, and sophisticated radars provide the sensor input that make that foundation even more robust.\nYour Role\nLead the industrialization of new radar and electronics products from business award through serial production (SOP).\nAct as the primary manufacturing interface between Product Design, Quality, Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Production Plants.\nDrive DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) reviews to ensure products can be built robustly and efficiently.\nCreate and maintain manufacturing project plans, launch timing, industrialization deliverables, and milestone tracking.\nLead MSD workshops, process flow development, and manufacturing readiness reviews.\nDevelop production line concepts including equipment selection, material flow, cycle time analysis, traceability, and automation strategies.\nDrive PFMEA, manufacturing risk assessments, process validation, and capability studies (Cp/Cpk).\nDefine equipment requirements, manage RFQs/SOWs, support supplier selection, and oversee equipment buy-offs.\nSupport prototype, DV, PV, and customer builds while ensuring lessons learned are incorporated into future launches.\nEscalate technical, timing, quality, and cost risks and drive recovery actions to protect SOP commitments.\nYour Background\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.\nDemonstrated ability to transform product designs into robust, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.\nStrong knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and Production Validation processes.\nExperience working with automotive standards such as IATF 16949, VDA, customer-specific requirements.\nHands-on experience with manufacturing processes including SMT, assembly automation, test systems, traceability, and process validation.\nAbility to interpret drawings, GD&T requirements, technical specifications, DFMEA outputs, and design documentation.\nStrong project management skills with experience leading cross-functional industrialization and launch activities.\nProven problem-solving capability using methodologies such as 8D, A3, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC, or similar structured approaches.\nStrong communication and stakeholder management skills in a global environment, including customer-facing technical discussions.\nSelf-driven, proactive, and results-oriented with a continuous improvement mindset and working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.\nWhy join us?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
