Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nAs a Manufacturing Engineer for New Products on our team, you will be Lead and coordinate new product launches from prototype builds through full-volume production, attending product development team meetings and Coordinate industrialization, process development, and validation activities for new programs providing technical support in the engineering department.\nIn your daily job you will:\nAttend product development team meetings and provide technical manufacturing support. \nLead and coordinate new product launches from prototype builds through full-volume production. \nServe as the technical focal point during new product implementation and manufacturing readiness activities. \nDevelop and execute NPI project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies to ensure successful product launches. \nSupport process validation activities for new PCB assemblies and electronic product samples. \nIdentify and implement opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs, improve efficiency, and optimize product designs for manufacturability. \nCoordinate industrialization, process development, and validation activities for new programs. \nPrepare and maintain technical documentation, reports, and project status updates for management review. \nActively participate in operational and quality meetings, including KPI reviews, MRVA, operations reviews, customer escalations, and management meetings. \nCollaborate with project teams to resolve manufacturing issues and implement necessary corrective actions for production builds. \nSupport new product launches, product transfers, and capacity expansion projects. \nLead the implementation, validation, and documentation of electronic and mechanical engineering changes (ECN). \nEnsure compliance with customer requirements, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices. \nCoordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Quality, Production, Supply Chain, and Program Management. \nMonitor launch performance metrics and drive actions to achieve production readiness targets.\nConduct root cause analysis using methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone Diagram, PFMEA, and corrective action processes. \nYOUR BACKGROUND\nKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:\nCompleted bachelor's degree\nAdvanced English communication skills (spoken and written). \nMinimum 3 years of experience in New Product Introduction (NPI) within the electronics manufacturing industry.\nExperience in the automotive industry is desirable. \nStrong knowledge of PCB assembly processes, SMT, wave soldering, selective soldering, and electronic manufacturing technologies. \nExperience implementing and managing electronic and mechanical engineering changes (ECO/ECN). \nProven experience launching products from prototype builds to mass production. \nKnowledge of process validation methodologies \nExperience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plans, and MSA. \nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies. \nKnowledge of IPC standards (IPC-A-610)\nExperience with root cause analysis and corrective action systems (8D, 5 Why, Ishikawa, CAPA). \nAbility to analyze manufacturing data and drive yield, quality, and productivity improvements. \nExperience working with ERP systems. \nStrong project management and cross-functional leadership skills. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Project. \nUnderstanding of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949. \nExperience supporting customer audits, process audits, and product qualification activities. \nStrong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills. \nAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment.\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
