Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nIn your daily job you will:\nSupport product launches from development validation (DV) through MP (mass production).\nApply DFM/DFA principles to ensure efficient, scalable, and cost-effective manufacturing processes.\nProvide engineering support for prototype and engineering builds; identify and escalate design, test, and supplier-related issues.\nParticipate in MQ1 and MQ2 phases, ensuring readiness of equipment, processes, and documentation.\nConduct manufacturability reviews to identify process risks, yield impacts, and cost reduction opportunities.\nCollaborate with product design teams to optimize product architecture for ease of assembly and process capability.\nDrive design improvements to reduce cycle time, part complexity, and assembly errors, enabling higher automation and throughput\nEnsure alignment between product design, process capability, and production constraints during NPI phases.\nConduct PFMEA and Reverse PFMEA before mass production.\nParticipate in PDT meetings and lead escalation processes when required.\nDrive improvements to production KPIs (OEE, FTQ, yield, downtime).\nActively participate in operational and quality meetings (KPI meetings, MRVA, operations reviews, escalations).\nCollaborate with Industrial Engineering on capacity planning and equipment sourcing/installation.\nSupport equipment supplier release (MQ1/MQ2) and acceptance activities.\nExecute capability plans including MSA and GR&R studies.\nDevelop and validate process parameters and process specifications.\nDefine equipment setup, spare parts lists, and maintenance strategies.\nPerform strain measurements and process validation activities.\nDefine and implement product-specific traceability.\nManage equipment transfer and setup (import/export).\nYOUR BACKGROUND\nKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:\nCompleted bachelor's degree\n+5 years of experience in electronics\nExperience in New Product Introduction is a must\nExperience in automotive industry\nAdvanced English\nKnowledge of IATF 16949 and VDA 6.3 standards.\nExperience with APQP methodologies and product launch processes.\nFamiliarity with IPC-A-610 for PCB assembly quality.\nConcept design and validation of assembly and test fixtures for electronics manufacturing.\nExperience with automated and semi-automated assembly systems.\nHands-on support for equipment acceptance and process validation:GR&R, MSA, DoE, capability studies (Cp/Cpk)\n\nDevelopment of key manufacturing deliverables:PFMEA (including reverse PFMEA)\nProcess Flow Diagrams (PFD)\nControl Plans\nWork Instructions and PM plans\n\nStrong knowledge of:Assembly automation\nSmart fastening systems\nAdhesive dispensing processes\nPCB fabrication and assembly\nMES and traceability systems\nSurface Mount Technology (SMT)\n\nExperience with root cause analysis tools (5 Whys, Ishikawa, Pareto)\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
