The ideal candidate combines strong shop-floor leadership with technical manufacturing expertise, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to effectively manage complex production environments.\nYour Role:\nLead and coordinate daily manufacturing operations across multiple production lines, cells, and shifts.\nManage, coach, and develop production supervisors and manufacturing teams to achieve operational objectives.\nEnsure production schedules and customer requirements are met while maintaining established standards for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.\nMonitor manufacturing performance through KPIs including OEE, Scrap/Waste, DPMO, Quality PPMs, productivity, capacity utilization, and production attainment.\nIdentify production constraints and implement corrective actions to improve manufacturing flow and installed capacity utilization.\nLead continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, 5S, SMED, KANBAN, Poka-Yoke, Value Stream Mapping, and line balancing methodologies.\nCoordinate structured problem-solving activities using 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa/Fishbone Analysis, and other root-cause analysis methodologies.\nSupport compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and automotive Core Tools, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.\nLead daily production and performance meetings, communicating priorities, results, risks, and recovery plans to operations teams and plant leadership.\nRespond effectively to critical operational situations including line stoppages, equipment issues, quality concerns, material constraints, and absenteeism.\nPartner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Supply Chain, EHS, and other cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve operational performance.\nPromote a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with applicable EHS, STPS, and OSHA standards.\nSupport a zero-accident environment by identifying risks, reinforcing safe work practices, and driving corrective and preventive actions.\nPrepare and analyze production reports using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.}\nYour Background:\nBachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.\nEnglish proficiency required for communication with corporate teams, customers, and during audits.\nSix Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt, Lean Manufacturing, SMED, or IATF 16949 certification is preferred.\n4+ years of experience in production or manufacturing operations, preferably within the automotive or high-volume manufacturing/maquiladora environment.\nPrevious experience leading production supervisors, middle-management teams, or complex manufacturing operations.\nYour Benefits:\nSavings Fund\nPension Plan\nChristmas Bonus\nAttendance Bonus\nVacation Premium\nMedical Expenses\nLife Insurance\nSocial security (IMSS, INFONAVIT, Retirement)\nRecognition for innovation and excellence\nOpportunities to give back to the community\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
