This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced payroll professional who combines strong technical expertise with leadership, strategic thinking, and a results-oriented mindset.\nROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nPayroll Operations and Systems Management\nLead and oversee the end-to-end payroll process for all IS Mexico locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.\nConfigure, execute, and validate payroll processes in Workday and PeopleSoft.\nAdminister the Time & Attendance system and PNET.\nAct as the legal representative for approvals in IMSS, FONACOT, and INFONAVIT systems.\nPrepare payroll accounting reports for Finance and support the financial administration of HR budgets.\nProvide Finance with the payroll information required for budget preparation. \nDigital Transformation and Process Improvement\nLead payroll systems modernization projects focused on efficiency, standardization, data integrity, and user experience.\nEvaluate, implement, and optimize automation solutions, system integrations, and digital tools supporting payroll, timekeeping, labor cost management, and HR administrative processes.\nDrive automation initiatives to reduce manual workload, streamline payroll activities, and improve operational efficiency.\nIdentify opportunities to strengthen payroll scalability through technology and workflow optimization.\nLabor Cost Management and Financial Analysis\nDevelop and maintain advanced Excel models for labor cost analysis, forecasting, reporting, and payroll simulations.\nImplement labor cost reduction strategies aligned with organizational financial goals.\nSupport workforce planning and other strategic labor cost initiatives.\nEnsure payroll reporting and financial information are accurate, timely, and aligned with business requirements.\nCompliance, Audits, and Labor Relations\nEnsure compliance with applicable payroll legislation, internal policies, and collective labor agreements.\nManage and negotiate collective labor agreements, supporting fair and sustainable labor relations.\nCoordinate internal and external payroll audits and ensure transparency and regulatory compliance.\nAddress government tax audits and ensure compliance with STPS payroll-related audits.\nMaintain ethical and professional conduct while complying with Internal Work Regulations and plant policies.\nLeadership and Cross-Functional Collaboration\nLead and work with a team of payroll professionals focused on compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.\nCollaborate with HR, Finance, and Legal teams to align payroll operations with corporate policies, employee relations, and workforce strategies.\nSupport organizational changes and evolving business requirements.\nPerform additional responsibilities assigned according to business and organizational needs. \nYour Background\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.\nMinimum of five years of experience in payroll administration, preferably within multinational companies.\nStrong Workday expertise is required, along with experience using PeopleSoft.\nProven experience in payroll systems modernization, digital transformation, system integrations, and process automation.\nAdvanced Excel skills, including financial modeling, macros, pivot tables, and data analysis.\nSolid knowledge of payroll legislation and collective labor agreements.\nExperience in Human Resources and labor relations.\nAdvanced written and spoken English proficiency.\nStrong leadership, communication, analytical, and results-oriented skills. \nWhy Join Aptiv\nYou grow at Aptiv.\nAptiv’s winning culture is global by design.
