This role will work closely with our radar algorithm and software integration teams to implement, test, and deploy radar signal processing algorithms for new automotive radar designs. The Agoura Hills team is part of the Advanced radar group within the Global Product Organization (GPO).\nResponsibilities\nCreate, deploy and maintain radar signal-processing software and tools.\nSupport local and global radar teams in the deployment of radar algorithms in prototype systems\nManage and develop DevOps tools for current and new projects\nManage and implement Matlab-based radar signal-processing tools for internal customers\nManage and organize data provided by internal teams and external customers\nDesign rapid-prototyping systems that include real-time radar algorithms, logging and visualization\nWork with vendors to test radar logging systems and troubleshoot issues\nWrite scripts and tools for offline data analysis, algorithm validation, and regression testing\nMaintain Hardware-in-the-Loop and Software-in-the-Loop toolchains\nTake ownership of software libraries and tools used by global Aptiv teams\nSupport internal and external customers, world-wide\nProvide technical leadership in the implementation of world-class software and systems to support automotive radar development\nMust Haves (Basic Qualifications)\nBachelor’s degree in Computer engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering\n10+ years of hands on experience in / knowledge of:Embedded software development\nParallel processing and multi-threading\nImplementation of prototype radar signal-processing software in Matlab and c++\nWorking closely with radar algorithm developers\nRadar signal processing fundamentals\nOptimization of radar signal processing algorithms and use of DSPs or other accelerators\nLogging and parsing of low-level ADC data\nTroubleshooting offline and online/real-time implementations of the radar signal-processing pipeline\nIntegration of radar signal-processing modules into a larger perception stack\nImplementation of the visualization of radar sensor data and other sensor data (lidars, cameras)\nThe use of revision control and best practices (git, svn, etc)\n\nNice to Haves (Preferred Qualifications)\nExperience with ROS\nCUDA experience\nKnowledge of automotive CAN and Ethernet communication protocols\nExperience with Azure, AWS or other cloud tools\nExperience with Python\nAptiv Rewards and Advantages\nCompetitive compensation with bonus potential\nLearning and development opportunities\nRecognition for innovation and excellence\nMeaningful work that makes a difference in the world\nRelocation assistance may be available\nTuition Reimbursement\nPaid Time Off (Vacation, Parental leave, etc.)\nPrivacy Notice - Active Candidates: https://www.aptiv.com/privacy-notice-active-candidates\nAptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.
