Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nOur Project Managers drive global, cross-functional teams, from business award through product launch to successfully deliver advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to enhance vehicle safety within the consumer market with ground-breaking technology. The PM will drive & own E2E program planning and execution including program P&L margins; ensure high customer satisfaction for programs delivered; oversee talent management for project management employees and ensure high employee satisfaction.\nResponsibilities:\nSupport project execution from business award through end-of-life for a particular set of vehicle programs or products.\nChampion Overall Project Plan, Reviews, and milestones.\nRisk Management through cross-functional problem solving and mitigation strategy development\nSupport in Change Management to ensure any and all costs associated with a change are captured and quoted to maintain program profitability.\nChampion cross-functional team discussions to ensure cooperation with the relevant technical experts (Engineering Project Leader, Quality, Sales, SCM, Manufacturing, etc..) is achieved to drive expected progress of product development and achieve overall project milestones\nAssess critical path and project risks/issues while aligning with stakeholders to deliver flawless execution\nDevelop relationship with customer and engage with regularly for all Project activity\nEffectively manage customer and ensure communication alignment between stakeholders\nPrepare status reports for assigned project activities (Gate Reviews, Executive Reports, open issues/key actions, critical path, issues/risk, progress vs. KPI’s, etc.)\nEscalate risks/issues as needed to protect project commitments\nEnsure proper staffing is in alignment with key areas - resource planning/projects goals\nMeet investment spending and financial statistics from Project Award through CAPEX planning and tracking and spend contribution\nLead by example to develop a “one team” mindset and environment\nMust be a team player; must demonstrate a willingness to work with and assist colleagues, focusing on continuous improvement of project quality, processes and relationships\nWillingness to Identify and communicate opportunities to streamline work cadence/reduce inefficiencies \nProvide input into Customer Sales Lead / Product org on key features to incorporate into the product roadmap\nSupport the Customer Sales Lead in their pursuits by providing input on feasibility, coast and timing associated with programs\nSupport in providing project forecast to feed into budget and financial planning,\nYour Background:\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, business, finance or equivalent relevant experience\nPrevious project / program development experience within automotive\nDemonstrated experience working with OEMs and understanding of their product development and program execution ecosystem\nStrong knowledge of Industrialization Operating Systems, with experience supporting manufacturing readiness, program launches, and cross-functional execution.\nProficient in MS excel, PowerPoint, MS project, and MS word\nStrong organization, planning and follow up skills\nStrong presentation skills\nExcellent team player and ability to work effectively with others\nAbility to demonstrate and communicate a methodical and analytical approach to problem solving \nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
