Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nAs a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading global, cross-functional teams from business award through product launch and end-of-life, ensuring the successful delivery of advanced ECU systems that enhance vehicle safety. The role focuses on driving execution excellence, managing risks, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring projects meet timeline, budget, and quality expectations.\nResponsibilities\nDrive end-to-end project execution from award to product launch and lifecycle completion.\n\nOwn and champion the overall project plan, including milestones, reviews, and deliverables.\n\nLead cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Quality, Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders.\n\nProactively manage project risks and issues, including mitigation strategies and escalation when required.\n\nEnsure effective change management and alignment across all stakeholders.\n\nMonitor and manage critical path activities to ensure timely delivery.\n\nBuild and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring continuous communication and alignment.\n\nProvide regular project status reporting (KPIs, risks, progress, financials, executive updates).\n\nEnsure resource planning and staffing are aligned with project needs.\n\nManage project financials, including CAPEX planning, tracking, and budget compliance.\n\nDrive adherence to PMO/program management processes and governance (e.g., gate reviews).\n\nPromote a “one team” mindset and foster collaboration across regions and functions.\n\nCapture and implement lessons learned to improve future project and organizational performance.\n\nSupport sales activities by providing input on feasibility, cost, and product roadmap considerations.\n\nCoordinate global workforce planning to support program delivery across regions.\n\nOversee project tools setup in collaboration with IT (engineering and collaboration tools).\n\nEnsure alignment with strategic and financial targets, including forecasting and planning.\n\nMust Haves\nBachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred).\n\n+5 years of experience as a Project Manager, ideally in automotive or similar industries.\n\nStrong project management expertise (PMP certification preferred).\n\nProven ability to manage cross-functional and global teams.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially in risk identification and mitigation.\n\nFluency in English with excellent communication skills.\n\nDemonstrated ability to work independently under remote supervision with high accountability.\n\nExperience managing project financials, budgets, and KPIs.\n\nStrong stakeholder management and customer-facing experience.\n\nAbility to handle multiple priorities and complex projects simultaneously.\n\nExperience in resource planning and workforce optimization.\n\nProven leadership skills with a focus on team empowerment and ownership (E2E accountability).\n\nStrong collaboration skills across engineering, commercial, and operational teams.\n\nHigh standards of professionalism and alignment with company values.\n\nExperience driving execution within budget, timeline, and quality constraints.\n\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
