Reporting to the SCM Operations Manager CS EMEA, you will play a key role in driving purchasing performance, supporting new product launches, and contributing to Aptiv's regional procurement strategy and operational success.\nRoles and Responsibilities\nManage local purchasing activities for direct production materials, acting as the main purchasing contact for internal stakeholders and external suppliers.\nRepresent purchasing in cross-functional project teams, supporting new product launches, business transfers, and engineering changes.\nDrive cost reduction initiatives and purchasing process improvements in alignment with local and EMEA procurement objectives.\nMonitor material performance KPIs, prepare management reports, and lead the annual material budgeting process.\nSupport plant operations in resolving supplier delivery issues and blocked invoices, collaborating with relevant internal teams and suppliers.\nMaintain accurate purchasing data in ERP systems and ensure compliance with Aptiv policies, procedures, and applicable legal requirements.\nRepresent the purchasing function during internal and external audits, ensuring appropriate documentation and process compliance.\nCoordinate indirect purchasing activities with the regional indirect purchasing team when required.\nYour Background\nMaster's degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.\n2-3 years of purchasing experience, preferably within the automotive or manufacturing industry.\nStrong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost optimization opportunities.\nExcellent communication, stakeholder management, and project coordination skills, with an engineering background considered an advantage.\nProficiency in QAD/MFGPro, SAP, and Microsoft Office applications.\nFluent English, both written and spoken, with the ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.\nStructured, proactive, and independent working style, with strong commitment, assertiveness, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.\nWhy join Aptiv?\nYou grow at Aptiv.
