Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nThis role is responsible for driving continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing process and acting as a primary liaison for all customer quality-related matters.\nRESPONSABILITIES\nProcess Quality & Continuous Improvement\nMonitor and analyze key quality performance indicators (KPIs) such as Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), scrap rate, and First-Time Quality (FTQ). Lead corrective action plans and process improvement initiatives when KPIs fall below target.\n\nUtilize statistical tools like SPC (Statistical Process Control), Pareto charts, and other process validation methods to ensure manufacturing processes are stable and capable.\n\nManage the non-conforming product process, including implementing effective containment actions and directing appropriate rework or disposition.\n\nEnsure all Control Plans are accurate, up-to-date, and consistently followed on the production floor.\n\nConduct periodic audits of finished goods and determine appropriate sample sizes to ensure product meets all specifications.\n\nProvide quality-related training and guidance to production teams, including operators, team leaders, and quality technicians, on new processes, quality controls, and reaction plans.\n\nCustomer Quality & Problem Solving\nServe as the primary point of contact for customer quality issues, ensuring timely communication and effective problem resolution.\n\nLead all problem-solving activities using structured methodologies, such as the 8D process, to identify root causes and implement robust corrective actions to prevent recurrence.\n\nValidate the effectiveness of containment actions for both internal and external customers to minimize the impact of quality issues.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer concerns and support all quality requirements.\n\nSupport and participate in internal and external quality system audits (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).\nREQUIRED SKILLS\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field.\n\n2+ years of experience in an automotive manufacturing quality function\n\nProven experience in leading problem-solving activities and applying quality tools (8D, SPC, MSA, FMEA, etc.).\n\nStrong understanding and experience with Quality Management Systems (IATF 16949 and customer specific requirements).\n\nExcellent problem-solving skills with a strong ability to perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with customers and internal teams.\n\nAbility to prioritize tasks, manage multiple customer requirements, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.\n\n100% fluency in business English is required\n\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Powerpoint and Excel\n\nProficiency in quality-related software and tools (e.g., Minitab, statistical analysis software)\n\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
