Ensure warranty costs management and communication with finance teams, pursuing costs reduction and accurate provisions. This position will be located in Troy, MI.\nKey job responsibilities for this role include:\nLearn customers’ warranty procedures and monitor their portals for warranty claims.\nReview warranty claims per customers' requirements to identify problems.\nParticipate in warranty returns and testing.\nParticipate in root cause analysis using problem solving tools.\nWork with engineering teams to define and implement design and/or manufacturing changes to fix warranty issues.\nMaintain accurate records of warranty claims, investigations, and resolutions.\nAnalyze warranty data and trends to identify risks and proactively address potential customer concerns and/or high warranty costs.\nIdentify and communicate warranty claims and/or costs charged inappropriately to Aptiv.\nCollaborate with finance and customer service teams to track warranty costs, make future estimates, support claims reconciliation, and ensure accurate reporting of warranty-related expenditures.\nExperience & Qualifications:\nPursuing degree in Engineering \nMust maintain minimum 3.0 GPA\nWell versed on Microsoft suite software, specifically Excel and PowerPoint\nNice to have:\nAutomotive industry market knowledge\nWhy join us?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
