Ready to shape the future of mobility with us?\nYOUR ROLE\nAs a SAP Master Data you will manage and support the electronic exchange of business documents-including Material Releases, Purchase Orders, Invoices, and ASNs-between Aptiv and its customers and suppliers.\nThis role is responsible for maintaining SAP master data critical for EDI communications, coordinating EDI implementations, and serving as the bridge between business operations and IT systems to ensure seamless, compliant, and timely data exchange in a fast-paced automotive environment.\nResponsibilities:\nCoordinate and support EDI implementations and deployments for new and existing customers and suppliers.\nSubmit and manage EDI/System requests (RITMs) and Fast Track requests with the Service team.\nCreate and maintain Ship-To / Plant relationship setups in OpenText-GXS.\nParticipate in project meetings and communicate EDI implementation status to stakeholders.\nInterface with Customer Service, Finance, Program Readiness, IT, and other business departments to ensure smooth EDI and SAP integration.\nAnalyze EDI formats (X12, XML, EDIFACT) and incorporate them into business processes.\nReuse existing EDI maps for new implementations to optimize costs and timelines.\nMonitor failed ASNs, invoices, and inbound EDI transactions reported by OpenText-GXS; collaborate with Customer Service BPO to prevent recurrence.\nAnalyze EDI map logic against SAP IDocs and customer EDI implementation guidelines.\nAct as BPO Global Changes and Implementations lead, validating and approving EDI map solutions and assessing SAP system impacts.\nMaintain SAP master data tables related to Ship-To, Plant, and other EDI-relevant configurations.\nManage SAP email configurations for:\nAutomatic customs clearance (Pro-Forma invoices)\nAutomatic Bill of Lading (BOL)\nJITCALL customer communications\nProvide vendor subcontracting support and assist with customer business transfers.\nSupport JCOM activities, including:\nGranting JCOM access to Customer Service, Program Readiness, and GBS Finance\nInitiating JCOM account PO requests based on usage\nDistributing JCOM notices to relevant teams\nSign invoices for payment release and assist Finance with past-due invoice resolution.\nSupport identification and resolution of JITCALL, Manifest, and Call-off discrepancies in finance reports.\nAssist with consignment system configuration and issue resolution.\nSupport BTO program deployments and customer launches.\nParticipate in UAT workshops and provide post go-live support.\nDownload and distribute EDI 824 rejection reports (ASN and Invoice).\nOpen and manage tickets with customers’ EDI providers to resolve EDI issues.\nProvide EDI raw data and notify the business of system or EDI downtime.\nTravel as required to support new program launches.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nMust Haves (Basic Qualifications):\n·Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).\n·3+ years of experience working with SAP, including Master Data management.\n·Hands-on experience with OpenText - GXS and J-Com.\n·Proficiency in EDI standards: ANSI X12, XML, and EDIFACT.\n·Experience with communication protocols such as FTP, SFTP, and related technologies.\n·Previous experience working with automotive customers and suppliers.\n·Knowledge of SAP IDocs and EDI-to-SAP integration.\n·Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and BI tools (Power BI, Qlik, Tableau).\n·Advanced proficiency in MS Office, ERP systems, and enterprise applications.\n·Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.\n·Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills.\n·Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-paced environment.\n·Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making.\nWHY JOIN US?\nYou can grow at Aptiv.
